Where to start? Shiloh Gastro is located up on a bluff in western Pittsburgh and is said to be haunted. The restaraunt is a semi renovated house with a patio and deck. It is a 2 story with plenty of room downstairs and a bar. Kitchen and a private room are also upstairs. To get to this hidden treasure, my friends and I took a brisk, 20 minute walk, crossed the river and took a gondola ride to the top of the bluff. Just a block or so beyond the top, we found this hidden treasure. There is a pretty diverse all American menu but I enjoyed some mushroom jerk tacos and a salad on my first night. I went back the next night and had some delicious nachos. I had the Keanu Reeves beer. Were they pulling my leg? Delicious IPA no matter what. Great and prompt service. Definitely a hidden gem and a great adventure just to get to the top with great company and service.

Party of 4 went for dinner on a very cold Thursday night in January. Got there around 5:30pm, so the place was pretty empty. Filled up later. Service was very friendly. Each of us had a drink - I had the Moscow Mule which was very nice. Also had the pierogies and totchoes, both from the Happy Hour menu, and they were very filling. Others had the Three Rivers Salad, Cauliflower Tacos, and the Cheese Steak. Everyone loved their food. At the end, we shared the strawberry cheesecake pierogies and the chocolate cake desserts. Everything was delicious. Total including tips and taxes came to around 35$ per person, which is pretty good considering how much food we had. The restaurant has its own parking lot too.

Food and service were great. Acoustics made it hard to talk, but it IS a bar. We ordered mostly off the special MO day appetizer special listing.

Shiloh Gastro is a hidden gem atop Mt. Washington, offering scratch-made contemporary comfort food in a laid-back, relaxed setting—making it a perfect stop whether you're a local or just visiting the Mount. The ambiance is welcoming with both indoor and outdoor seating options, a full bar featuring bar stools and high tops, and even an upstairs area with additional dining space and a private room available for events. The staff is incredibly sweet and attentive, enhancing the warm, inviting vibe of the restaurant. They also run several fun weekly specials: Happy Hour all day on Mondays and again Tuesday through Friday from 4–6 PM, with deals on drinks and appetizers. On “211 Tuesdays,” those who live or work on Mt. Washington receive 25% off their meals—a great local perk! And every Wednesday, enjoy half-off mac and cheese—a comfort food classic. From their new spring cocktail menu, I tried two standout drinks: Hibiscus Margarita: Sauza tequila, Cointreau, hibiscus, fresh lime juice, and a salted rim—bright, floral, and refreshing. Light My Way (Ultraviolet Daiquiri): Maggie’s Farm rum, crème de violette, lavender simple syrup, and fresh lime juice—smooth, aromatic, and unique. For starters, the shrimp and crab stuffed mushrooms were a hit—baby portobellos filled with a rich mix of crab, spinach, and cream cheese, topped with garlic butter shrimp and balsamic glaze. Flavor-packed and satisfying. Next up was the strawberry caprese salad—a fresh spring mix tossed in balsamic vinaigrette, with red onions, diced strawberries, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. It was the perfect light and seasonal dish. For the main course, I tried one of their new menu items: stuffed shells filled with chicken, spinach, tomatoes, onions, cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Served with garlic bread, this dish was indulgent, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I ended the meal with their cinnamon roll bread pudding, served warm with vanilla ice cream and car

My family, six adults and one toddler, just had a delicious Mother’s Day brunch at Shiloh Gasto. I can’t recommend them highly enough, and I can’t wait to go back to try out their other offerings. Today wasn’t the best day for outdoor seating, but I am encouraged to see that they have a lot of that too - and onsite parking. Very pleasant and helpful staff and again, the food was great!

Shiloh Gastro in Pittsburgh PA absolutely made our first wedding anniversary unforgettable. The food was incredible, every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors were spot on. The vibe of the place is cozy but still feels special, perfect for a celebration. What really made the night was the hospitality. The staff surprised us with free drinks in the house to celebrate our anniversary, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. It made us feel genuinely appreciated. Five stars all the way for the amazing service, delicious food, and for helping make such an important day even more memorable. Highly recommend! 🍹

We were seated right away and had great service. We were in a bit of a hurry since we were on our way to a game, but had no issues getting our food and check quickly. The Mac and cheese was a huge portion and tasted great! Loved the pierogis and brussel slaw. The peach old fashioned was delicious. This was our first time stopping in and will definitely return!
